The upcoming trip to the Mis- sion Inn is the highlight of a number of activities scheduled in December, celebrating the holiday season and sponsored by the Cul- ver City Woman’s Club.

The trip, which is open to the public, will take place on Friday, Dec. 5. The itinerary includes a tour of the elaborately decorated hotel and grounds, a buffet lunch in an elegant private dining room and time for shopping in the quaint shops that line the mall adjacent to the Inn. The coach will leave at 7:30 a.m. from the parking lot of the Culver Palms Methodist Church located at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City. Tickets cost $65.

In the holiday spirit, the Club will distribute gifts and monetary gifts to needy families and seniors in Culver City. Members will also participate in the Spark of Love program by donating toys that are distributed to kids by the Culver City Fire Department.

The public is also invited to the annual Christmas luncheon at the Cheesecake Factory at the Grove at Farmers Market in Los Angeleson Monday, Dec. 15, where Santa has been known to visit the guests at previous luncheons.

The last holiday activity is the Christmas Wrapping Booth at the Westside Pavilion Mall from Dec. 19-24. Proceeds help fund the club’s philanthropic activities including scholarships for Culver City High School students and camp scholarships for the YMCA.
