Are you ready for an immersive theatrical Halloween experience like no other, offered by Creating Arts Studios most outrageously talented lunatics and freaks? If you are like me, rush over and throw your cares to the wind and join in the wicked fun and dance along with the characters in the twisted world of the Experiment, where Dr. Bradley and Nurse Janice welcome you into their private asylum. Upon arrival the candy stripers will check you in and usher you to the day room, where you’ll shudder with… anticipation to meet the resident patients.

Trust me – you will get up close and personal with them as they wind you through a tangled tale of sex, power and madness which follows the storyline of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” incorporating many of the much-loved comic tunes along with references to many other off-beat tales. You will laugh and carry on along with the craziness as you get lost in a time warp of songs and dance in this sexy, eerie 360 degree, completely immersive insane cabaret.

But don’t worry, all patients are under sedation and promise not even an inch of anger.

Just remember to follow the Asylum rules during your visit:?1. No touching the patients – unless they ask (which they will do!);?2. No admittance under 21, this show features fun-loving adult content and costumes;?3. Doors open at 7 p.m. with live music and other asylum offerings; 4. Sedatives are for the patients only – but they will frequently share;?5. Singing and dancing will be contagious. Get ready to lose your mind in the best of all possible ways during this rambunctious romp epitomizing the best in stage creativity.

The Experiment, A Rockin’ Frank + Wighead Insane Cabaret” is presented by Creating Arts Studios, 3110 Pennsylvania Ave. in Santa Monica. Performance dates are Sept. 11 to Oct. 31, on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Running time is 2 hours, with an intermission should you need to escape the craziness for 15 minutes.  Remember: ages 21 and older only.

And if you missed their outrageous “Thénardiers Inn: A Les Misérables Cabaret,” which won the 2015 Hollywood Fringe award for best cabaret and variety show, you can enjoy this creatively outrageous re-telling of the Victor Hugo tale put on by the man himself.

Submerge yourself in the dancing, drinks, and girls of the Inn, singing along with the classic characters and songs in this 360 degree immersive theatrical cabaret. You will be escorted through the event by Master Thenardier, who invites you into his Inn for an intimate yet rambunctious evening where every seat is in on the action.
