Twenty years ago, on 9/11, I was protesting the Taliban and Osama bin Laden at the WLA Federal Building in Westwood. Now 20 years later, I am protesting the Taliban takeover and Biden’s betrayal and abandonment of American allies in Afghanistan.
In the 70’s, I backpacked extensively throughout Afghanistan from the Kyber Pass, Jalalabad, Kabul, Kandahar, and Herat, and I got to know the Afghan people.
I worked with the Afghan resistance against the Soviets and against the Taliban after 9/11.
It is such a tragedy to see how Americans and Afghans have been betrayed by the sheer incompetence of Joe Biden.
As a consequence of this disaster, I predict in the coming months there will be massacres worse than the killing fields of Cambodia.
I am for the self determination of the Afghan people and want our government to give humanitarian assistance to the new Afghan resistance to the Taliban.
