The Culver City Sister City Committee invites the public to welcome two delegates from our sister city of Kaizuka, Japan, who will be here to par-ticipate in the Los Angeles Marathon.
Mr. Yuki Otsuka and Ms. Noriko Komatsu will be spending a week in Culver City, during which they’ll be touring, shopping and meeting with city officials. The visit is part of a program in which Culver City and Kaizuka have sent runners to each other’s annual marathon for over two decades.
A potluck welcome din-ner is being held on Friday, March 13, and local residents are invited to attend and meet Mr. Otsuka and Ms. Komatsu. The party starts at 6:30 at Mike Cohen’s house at 4378 Jasmine Avenue, Culver City.
