Joseph “Jay-Jay” Oloimooja, a 12-year-old boy who went missing last week, has been found safe, according to a statement by the Culver City Police Department.
Oloimooja is autistic, and is minimally verbal. He was last seen “on Thursday, December 26, at approximately 9 p.m., walking westbound near 9770 Culver Boulevard,” according to a statement from the CCPD. “Joseph is a Black male last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.”
The police provided an update the following day, on Friday, December 27, to say that Oloimooja had been located.
“Thank you to our community, media, and law enforcement partners for assisting in the search,” they said.
