Police arrest two for attempted residential burglary

The Culver City Police Department has two suspects in custody for attempted residential burglary on Monday, April 21 at about 12:30 p.m.

Officers responded to a radio call of an attempted residential burglary in the 11100 block of Fairbanks Avenue. A perimeter was established, a systematic search was conducted, and ultimately two of the three suspects were located. They were transported and booked at CCPD.

The investigation has been turned over to the Administration and Investigations Bureau.

Burglary:

On April 4 at 9 a.m. a victim called the police department to report his vehicle had been burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his 2005 Honda Accord in the 6300 block of Green Valley Circle on April 27 at 7 p.m. When he returned the next day at 8:45 a.m. he discovered all his car doors were opened and his property missing.

Residential Burglary:

On April 8 at 6 p.m. officers responded to the 3800 block of Girard Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he left his locked and secured at 8:15 a.m. When he returned at 5:30 p.m. he discovered a broken window and his property missing.

Vandalism:

On April 9 at 10 a.m. officers responded to the 10800 block of Wagner Street regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following: her 1989 Mercury had been vandalized in rear yard. She said the suspects had burned the car cover between April 6 and 7.

Stolen Vehicle:

On April 10 at 8 p.m. a victim called the police department to report his 2012 Toyota had been stolen. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard at 7:15 p.m. When he returned at 7:40 p.m. his vehicle was missing.
