The Culver City Chamber of Commerce will celebrate 90 years of promoting commerce in Culver City. On Wednesday, Aug. 24, Westfield Culver City will host and sponsor a celebration along with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Eight California wineries will present their wines for a tasting. The wineries are: Ahnfeldt, Calcareous, CLEB, Jettlynn, Kelly&Young, PeeryMoore, Tolosa and Ventana.
The Culver Hotel, Doubletree by Hilton and the Courtyard by Marriott will be serving fine tastes to accompany the wine tasting. Jim Hill will be the guest emcee for the festivities.
Throughout the event, a special anniversary video will showcase historic highlights of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce and the growth of the city.
The celebration will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the rooftop of Westfield Culver City, 6000 Sepulveda Blvd. Rooftop valet parking is available from Fox Hills Drive. Business attire is required: black, gray or white. The cost is $25 pre-paid or $30 at the door and is adults-only. RSVP by 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20.
