Burglary

A power supply box near Culver Boulevard and Tuller Avenue was pried open and batteries removed. Someone reported the incident to police, saying that he secured the steel box on March 15 at 12:30 p.m. and when he returned at 2 p.m., the batteries were gone.

 

Car Burglary

On March 16, a motorist parked and locked his 1999 Jeep at 11 a.m. in a parking lot in the 5800 block of Slauson Avenue. When he returned three hours later, he discovered the driver side window was smashed and items were missing.

Street Robbery

At 10:45 on the night of March 16, a male told police he was walking in the area of Hannum Avenue and Buckingham Parkway when he was approached by a black man who pointed a gun at him and demanded personal property, which he presumably surrendered. The gunman was described as about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build and wearing a red sweater.

 

Car Burglary

A motorist told police that she parked and locked her 2003 GMC Envoy in the 10400 block of Culver Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. on March 20, and when she returned a short time later, she noticed that her passenger window had been smashed and items missing.
