Lillian Corso Patacchia, widow of Mayor Emeritus Daniel Patacchia, died peacefully at her home in Culver City earlier this month. Patacchia was born in Renton, Penn., in 1917 and passed away at the age of 93. She and her husband moved to Culver City in 1948, and raised a daughter. The former mayor established Culver Park Realty and served on the Culver City City Council from 1960 to 1968. Unlike her husband, who was involved with many community activities, Patacchia was described as a very quiet lady.

Patacchia is survived by her daughter, Nancy(Bob) Cline, grandsons Daniel and Dean Ericsson, great-grandson Jimmy Ericsson and sister-in-law Pearl Corso.

A funeral mass will be celebrated for Lillian Patacchia at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City at noon on Friday, April 29, with internment to follow.
