On July 2, the Kentwood Players 2010-2011 Marcom Masque Awards Dinner and Awards Ceremony was held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Culver City. It was organized by Shari Barrett and Linda Reinhardt, directed and written by Scott Martin and Michelle Rosen, the Mistress of Ceremonies.
The annual event celebrated the past season and all Kentwood Players members in good standing who had seen all six productions voted in several categories for the annual Marcom Masque Awards, named in honor of Kentwood Players founders Jan and Arky Marcom.
Every performer, designer, producer, and director from all six productions were nominated in 21 categories, determined by the show’s director and approved by the Board of Directors. The winner of each category was determined by the votes of the Kentwood Player members.
