Burglary
On August 6, at 5:30 a.m. officers
responded to the 3900 block of Bentley
Avenue regarding a burglary
investigation. The officers met with
the victim who told them the following;
she and her boyfriend were
asleep when he awoke and saw a
male, white 50 years, 6’0, bald wearing
a white shirt and beige pants
walking out the front door. The victim
then followed the suspect out to
the street where the suspect entered
a vehicle and fled the location. The
victim said there was no property
taken.
Stolen Vehicle
On August 7, at 5 a.m. officers
responded to the 13000 block of
Washington Boulevard regarding
a stolen vehicle investigation. The
officers met with the victim who
told them the following; he parked
and locked his 1985 Toyota at 8 p.m.
When he returned the next morning
at 5 a.m. he discovered his vehicle
missing.
Car Burglary
On August 7, at 9:50 a.m. a victim
called the police department to
report her 2000 Lexus had been
broken into. The victim parked and
locked her car in the 5800 block of
Slauson Avenue at 9 a.m. When she
returned in a few minutes her car’s
front passenger window had been
smashed and her property missing.
Residential Burglary
On August 8, at 8:30 a.m. officers
responded to the 5600 block of Windsor
Way regarding a burglary investigation.
The officers met with the
victim who told them the following;
she left her residence at 7:19 a.m.
and when she returned at 7:30 a.m.
she discovered her living room window
open and her property missing.
Street Robbery
On August 8, at 9:25 p.m. officers
responded to the area of Washington
Boulevard and Wesley Street
regarding a robbery investigation.
The officers met with the victim who
told them the following; she was
walking east on Washington Boulevard
from the train station and when
she reached the above intersection
she was struck on the side of face
causing her to fall. The suspect then
grabbed her property and fled the
location. The suspect was described
as a male Black, 20-30 years, 5’10,
muscular build, wearing a baseball
hat and white tee shirt.
