After all the fun and fierce competition of last year’s FUNraiser, the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center is at it again. Organizers are encouraging the public to “a great night of games and laughs while supporting the amazing services the Center provides.” The fundraising event is on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at 4401 Elenda St., Culver City. Early bird tickets are available for $65 until Feb. 15 and $75 after that. “This time we will be playing Family Feud and other games from the comfort and safety of your home on Zoom,” Sandy Swartz said. “You can create teams with friends or let us put you on a team. Either way, it will be an enjoyable time as funds are raised for the continuation of much needed mental and physical health services for Culver City students.” Tickets can be purchased at www.sandysegalyouthhealthcenter.org. The work of the Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center is as important as ever. The Friends group serves as the fundraising arm of the health center, which is located on the Middle School and High School campuses and is managed by the Venice Family Clinic. Low-cost physical and mental health services, as well as health education, are offered to Culver City Middle and High School students. Even though the campus is currently closed, services are still available through telemedicine, online, and at another VFC facility.
