Pre-sale wrist bands for the carnival rides at Fiesta La Ballona are now available. The pre-Fiesta price is $20 and runs from Aug. 1 through noon Aug. 26. The price during the Fiesta is $25.
Wrist band vouchers can be purchased during regular business hours at the recreation office in the rear of the Veterans Memorial Building at 4117 Overland Ave. The office is open Monday between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wrist bands will be honored on Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28. Each wrist band is good for only one day from noon until 6 p.m. Wrist bands will not be honored for ride admissions past 6 p.m.
Each person must have his or her own wrist band. Wrist band vouchers are non-refundable and non-replaceable even if lost or stolen.
