The Culver City Chamber of Commerce recently elected a new chair to lead its board of directors in the new year. Culver City resident and businessman Goran Eriksson, who, with his wife Britta Eriksson, owns esi Techtrans, Inc. and EuroVat, two international business development companies.
Joining Eriksson on the executive committee is chair-elect Michael Hamill, vice chairs of the board Kevin Lachoff, Chuck Martinez, Elena Sweda Neff, Bill Reider, Scott Wyant and Angela Gibson as immediate past chair.
One important aspect of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce is its continued involvement in the entire community. The chamber board is a diverse board of 29 business people, which includes:
- 15 residents/homeowners
- 20 small business owners
- Eight women
- 15 baby boomers
- 13 younger generation members than baby boomers
- Uncounted numbers involved in AYSO, Little League, local service clubs, Boy Scouts and many professional organizations throughout the state and nation
Make reservations by 1 p.m. Jan. 12 to join the chamber at the installation of officers and awards luncheon on Jan. 13 at the Four Points by Sheraton, 5990 Green Valley Circle, Culver City.
