Although spring break is taking place on the Culver City high school campus, student athletes are still hard at work trying to improve their skills. Baseball, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, boys volleyball, boys tennis and boys and girls track and field student athletes are still on campus practicing and playing games.

The baseball team is 8-5 overall and they have a 4-0 first place record in the Ocean league. Their next home games are today, March 27, against Leuzinger at 3:15 p.m. and they face Centennial at 3:15 p.m. on April 8. The girls’ softball team is 3-10 overall and 3-1 in the Bay league. Their next home games are against Wiseburn Da Vinci on April 7 at 3:15 p.m. and Hawthrone on April 8, at 3:15 p.m.

The boys’ volleyball team is 6-7 overall and 3-1 in the Ocean league. Their next home match is April 7, against Morningside at 3:30 p.m. Girl’s lacrosse next home game is April 4, at 4 p.m. against Beverly Hills and the next boys’ lacrosse home game against El Segundo is April 18, at 5:30 p.m.
