The California Chamber of Commerce recently recognized 21 local chambers of commerce with the President’s Circle award, and among the recipients was the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. Board chair Angela Gibson accepted the award at the CalChamber Business Summit.

The award, first presented in 2009, recognizes chambers for excellence in business advocacy and helping their members comply with California employment laws.

The California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) is the largest broad-based business advocate to California government. Membership represents one-fourth of the private sector jobs in California and includes firms of all sizes from every industry in the state. The nonprofit provides products and services to help businesses comply with federal and state law, and promotes international trade and investment in order to stimulate California’s economy and create jobs.
