Residential Burglary:
On November 8, 2011at 4:40 pm, officers responded to the 5100 block of Westwood Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her residence at 10:30 am and returned at 4:20 pm. As she entered her residence, she found a bedroom door had been forced open. She entered the room and discovered her property was missing.
Car Burglary:
On November 9, 2011 at 4:30 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 2010 Dodge had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle in the 5800 block of Slauson Boulevard at 3:30 pm. When she returned, she discovered her driver side window had been broken out and her property missing.
Stolen Motorcycle:
On November 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm, officers responded to the 6100 block of Centinela Avenue regarding a stolen motorcycle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he parked and secured his 2011 Suzuki motorcycle at 11:30 am and when he returned at 1:00 pm his motorcycle was missing.
Car Burglary:
On November 10, 2011 at 6:30 pm, a victim called the police department to report the burglary of his wife’s vehicle. The R/P said his wife parked and locked her 1997 Mercedes Benz near the intersection of Berryman and Port Road at 5:30 pm. When she returned at 5:40 pm she discovered her front passenger window had been broken out and her property missing.
Street Robbery:
On November 11, 2011 at 9:16 pm, officers responded to the 10800 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victims who told them the following; they were standing in the alley taking a break from work when three males approached them and produced a handgun, demanding their money. The victims, in fear for their safety, gave the suspects their property. The suspects then fled the location. The suspects were described as 3 black males, 20-25 years of age, 6’0 to 6’2, and all wearing a mask.
