Car Burglary

About 12:30 p.m. on May 24, an employee of a business in the 6100 block of Slauson Avenue reported a vehicle had been burglarized. The person said the vehicle was parked and locked on May 17 and a week later, the discovery was made.

 

Residential Burglary

A little after 3 p.m. that same day, police were called to the 12500 block of Washington Place regarding a burglary investigation. The owner said his brother left the home at 11 a.m. and locked the doors. He said his son returned at 2:30 p.m. and found a rear window screen was cut and the sliding door was open. Property was missing from the home.

 

Vandalism

The manager of the business in the 5500 block of Sepulveda Blvd. said he locked the building on evening of May 24 and when he entered the business the next day, he saw that a window was shattered.

 

Car Burglary

A female reported that she parked and locked her car on the 6100 block of Buckingham Parkway on May 24 and when she returned two days later, she found it had been broken into and property was missing.

 

Petty Theft

About 7:30 p.m. on May 26, a loss prevention agent reported a petty theft in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. The agent said a black woman, 25-30 years old, with a medium build, wearing blue jeans and a green top entered the store and removed several items without paying.

Commercial Burglary

On the morning of May 27, police went to the 12000 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a burglary call. The caller told police that he and an employee secured the business at 6 p.m. on May 26 and returned the following morning to find the glass of the front door shattered, the cash register pried open and the contents missing.
