Burglary:
On March 25 at 5:40 a.m. officers responded to the 8400 block of Warner Drive regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; the business was locked and secured at 6 p.m. on March 24 and on March 25 he received a call from the alarm company regarding activation. The victim said the suspects entered the location by breaking a window and then removing his property.
Stolen Vehicle:
On March 26 at 1 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report his 2008 Honda motorcycle had been stolen. The victim said he parked and locked his motorcycle in the 3800 block of Sepulveda Boulevard on March 25 at 10 p.m. When he returned the next morning his motorcycle was missing.
Street Robbery:
On March 29 at 12:50 a.m. officers responded to the area of Washington Boulevard and Overland Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was walking with his friend and pushing his bicycle along side of him when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect grabbed the rear tire of his bicycle and said “hey this is a robbery “and took his bicycle and fled the area. The suspect was described as a male Black, 24 years of age, 130 pounds, wearing a khaki jacket and dark colored pants.
Theft from Motor Vehicle:
On March 31 at 9 a.m. a victim called the police department to report his 2009 Volkswagen had been broken into. The victim said he parked and locked his car in the 6100 block of Canterbury Drive on March 30 at 10 p.m. When he returned the next day at 9 a.m. he discovered the rear trunk opened and his property missing.
