Crime Blotter for May 27 though June 3.
Stolen Vehicle:
On May 27 at 9:15 a.m., a victim came to the police department to report his 2002 Ford van was missing. The victim said he parked and locked his van in the 3800 block of Prospect Avenue May 26 at 11 p.m. When he returned the next day at 7 a.m. his van was missing.
Vandalism:
On May 27 at 4 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report her 2007 Toyota had been vandalized. The victim said she parked her car in the 400 block of Huron Avenue May 24 at 12 p.m. and when she returned May 27 at 3 p.m. she discovered her windshield had been smashed out.
Street Robbery:
On May 28 at 3:06 p.m. officers responded to the 5500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was walking in a parking lot when he was approached by a male suspect from behind and the suspect grabbed his property and fled the location.
Stolen Motorcycle:
On May 31 at 5:10 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report his 2005 Harley Motorcycle was missing. The victim said he parked and locked his motorcycle in the 10700 block of Cranks Road May 23. When he returned May 31 at 12 p.m. he discovered his motorcycle missing.
Bicycle Theft:
On June 2 at 1:05 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report his bicycle was stolen. The victim said he was at work in the 3200 block of Helms Avenue when he saw his bicycle being rode away by a male Black, 20 years of age, white tee shirt and red shorts. The victim said the suspect fled the area.
