Crime Blotter for June 25 through July 1.
Car Burglary:
On June 25 at 11 a.m., a victim came to the police department to report her 2008 Honda had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 5300 block of Emporia Avenue June 24 at 9:30 p.m. When she returned the next morning she discovered the passenger window had been smashed out and her property missing.
Residential Burglary:
On June 25 at 1:48 p.m. officers responded to the 5000 block of Fairbanks Way regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he left his residence locked and secured at 6 a.m. and when he returned at 1:20 p.m. he discovered his back door opened. He also discovered his property missing.
Vandalism:
On June 25 at 8 p.m. officers responded to the 9500 block of Lucerne Avenue regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the victim who them the following; she and her husband were watching a movie when they heard a loud noise and her window shattering. They discovered a large rock on the floor.
Street Robbery:
On June 26 at 5 p.m. officers responded to the area of Green Valley Circle and Bristol Parkway regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she was walking southbound on Green Valley Circle when she felt someone grabbing her cellphone from her hand. The suspect then pulled the phone from her grasp and fled the area.
Assault:
On July1 at 12:25 a.m., officers responded to the hospital and met with a victim regarding a battery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was at work located in the 8700 block of Washington Boulevard when he was approached by the suspect and punched several times. The suspect the fled the location.
