Today’s MidDay at Grace Concert will feature three beautiful sopranos, Tara Alexander, Clare Snodgrass, and Emily Dyer Reed and one handsome baritone, Randy Murphy. The program features Broadway selections from The Greatest Showman, My Fair Lady, Les Mis and the Sound of Music, as well as opera favorites from Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte and Gianni Schicchi by Puccini and Christmas Classics says Marya Basaraba, music director.
The concert is from noon to 12:45 p.m., is free and at Grace Lutheran Church, 4427 Overland Ave., Culver City. Donations to benefit Adopt and Shop, a Culver City animal rescue organization, as chosen by today’s guest performers.

Alexander has performed with the California Philharmonic and the Golden State POPs Orchestra. Snodgrass is a student of Marya Basaraba for more than 15 years and has performed at the historic Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro with the Golden State Pops Orchestra. Reed’s favorite roles include Micaëla (La tragédie de Carmen), Musetta (La bohème), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Lily Craven (The Secret Garden) and Marian Paroo (The Music Man). Murphy “nearly brought the house down with ONE line in the West Coast premiere of Bernard Hermann’s ‘Christmas Carol’ with the GSPO.”
