Chamber of Commerce ready to host Culver EXPO 2014

Come learn how to increase your revenue through marketing techniques and technology that are easy to implement and extremely effective. Culver EXPO 2014 will take place on Wednesday, June 25 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Auditorium located at 4117 Overland Ave. in Culver City.

The Culver EXPO is known as the biggest annual networking event in the “Heart of Screenland.” This friendly, festive indoor event, that offers the public a chance to visit over 100 unique, inventive and fascinating businesses displaying their products and services

During its 93 years as an incorporated organization in Culver City, the Culver City Chamber of Commerce has earned the reputation of an influential business association that works vigorously to promote a healthy economy and a desirable quality of life in Culver City.

With more than 600 members, ranging from multi-national conglomerates to individual entrepreneurs, the Chamber represents a diverse business community.

Since it’s founding the Chamber has played a leading role in all major issues facing the area’s economic vitality.  Some of the most important challenges facing the Chamber in the coming years include retaining jobs in Culver City, improving transportation, housing, the environment and education for our children.

The Culver City Chamber of Commerce promotes commerce through a wide range of means. Their professional staff works with the Chamber’s volunteer leadership and members to form necessary committees designed to help local business with a wide range of needs. And through these committees, they offer workshops and seminars on how to deal with specific business problems.

The Governmental Affairs Committee tracks lawmaking and regulations as it acts as an advocate on issues of concern to local business, whether they only trade locally or internationally. Through its other various committees, the Chamber’s membership and volunteers are involved in studying issues, developing policy positions and participating in advocacy activities.

The Chamber also works to enhance the region’s quality of life through community support projects and programs which recognize excellence and service.

The Culver City Chamber offers information resources, including our Business Guide, official City street map, a list of clubs and organizations, and State of California compliance manuals.

In addition, with participation in Chamber committees, task forces, legislative receptions, special events and mixers, members have the opportunities to network and make business contacts while working together towards mutual goals.
