The CCMS Improv Program is an amazing after-school activity offered to all interested CCMS students. Taught by the same energetic, highly skilled professional improvisers for the last seven years, students work in weekly classes, monthly intensive workshops, and a pre-show weekend workshop to develop two performances per year. The CCMS Improv Program naturally develops students’ inherent theatrical talent, but rather than focusing on creating “performers,” it develops vital life skills of acceptance, flexibility, critical thinking, commitment, persistence, kindness, teamwork, and creating serious fun!

These skills translate directly to students’ academic performance, emotional/social intelligence, and their development of themselves as capable, mindful contributors to the world around them. Don’t miss these performances at the beautiful Fine Arts Theater at West LA College! Just like our students, each show is one-of-a-kind, totally unrehearsed, and driven by audience suggestions! Come play with us.

Audience must park on Level 2 (it will feel like you’ve gone up 3 levels); walk out of the northeast corner of the parking structure. A Parking Usher will guide you to the theater.
