Scott Wyant was endorsed by both the Culver City Employees Association (CCEA) and the Beverly Hills / Greater Los Angeles Association of Relators (BH / GLAAR) this week.
The diversity of support for Wyant’s campaign speaks to the breadth and depth of knowledge Scott Wyant has on a wide range of issues facing the City, supporters said.
The Culver City Employees Association endorsement reflects his close relationship with the people who make the city run on a day-to-day basis. Wyant has served as a Planning Commissioner for seven years, allowing him to interact with city employees regularly.
“The more people know Scott, the more they trust him to do the job of being Councilmember for Culver City,” supporters said.
The Beverly Hills / Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors endorsement shows Wyant’s “intimate knowledge of the City and the State, his seven years of immersion in planning, and the success he’s had making this city a great place to live and work.”
Scott Wyant said of the endorsements: “I am so proud to receive the endorsement of both of these critically important organizations. City services and employees are one of my three campaign themes this year (Keep Culver City Working), and I am a proud ally of their causes. I am also proud to carry the endorsement of the BH / GLAAR. They know that my deep background in planning and land use provides me insights into the real estate market that puts me ahead of the competition.”
Wyant points to the renaissance of Hayden Tract, West Washington and the Arts District, as well as the Hotel District.
“The resulting revenues flowing to City coffers have enabled Culver City to maintain the enviable levels of police, fire, school and municipal services that Culver City residents have come to expect and depend upon,” he added.
