At its December meeting, Ballona Creek Renaissance unanimously elected Michele Bigelow to its board of directors. The Culver City resident and former active member of the BCR Advisory Council has a history of volunteering and working for local environmental organizations, including the Ballona Wetlands Land Trust.
Bigelow says she looks forward to assisting on a green space planning project, grant writing and ongoing volunteer native plant garden care and creek cleanup efforts.
“In addition to her excellent qualifications” I really appreciate Michele’s shared interest in listening to and working with all stakeholders,” said BCR President Jim Lamm.
