My Name is Angel, and I am excited to be a new member of The Culver City News family. But first let me tell you a little about me.
I am a Beauty Stylist with more than twenty years experience. I have a dynamic and energetic personality, and I enjoy the privilege of working with everyone who sits in my chair.
I have worked in television, movies, and on many of Tinsel Town’s famous tresses. I believe that hair should reflect your personality, individuality, and personal style.
I feel that it is my responsibility to always bring new trends and innovative techniques to my clientele, and so I make it a priority to continue educating myself on new techniques—I stay on top of what is new and hot in hair and fashion.
I have a vast repertoire. I am a hairstylist, classically trained Barber, make-up artist, and Master Educator in extensions. In 2007, I became a certified Barber instructor for the State of California, and I have been endorsed as an educator and representative for many high end product lines—I keep busy.
I have worked all over the United States, Mexico, France, Thailand, and Hong Kong— which I called home for 4 years—and am happy to bring my experience to you.
Through this column I hope to bring you tips on what to do, and what not to do to look and feel your best. I want to share my personal experience with you, and discuss what is new, hip, and hot in the world of beauty.
I hope to showcase new trends in cut, color, as well as innovative products, and new techniques to ask for in the salon to make your experience a satisfying one for both you, and the stylist who is trying to figure out what you want.
I want to hear from you, so if you have any questions for me, please send them in and I will be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
To me there is nothing more satisfying then my client getting up from my chair looking fabulous, feeling fabulous, and walking out flipping her hair around knowing she is worth a million bucks and everyone around notices that she looks like it too.
I hope to bring a little bit of this to you through my column, and always remind you that your beauty starts from within. All the rest is just dress up. Stay pretty.
