All for 1 rally

A school-wide rally will be held on Monday, Sept. 26, to raise money to maintain critical education programs and resources. It will be given to the Culver City Unified School District for the 2012-2013 school year.

The “All for 1” fundraiser is the effort of the Culver City Education Foundation and CCUSD. It will begin at 7:45 a.m. at the center quad, on the corner of Elenda Street and Farragut Drive. Supporters were encouraged to turn out and wear blue.

The campaign is so named because, according to the CCEF, “We are one…one community, one school district, one city uniting to raise $1 million for our children’s future.”

If every family in Culver City donates just $1 per day, the goal will be reached, according to the foundation. With a donation of $100 or more, donors will receive a “We support Culver City schools” yard sign.
