Many times over my long career at Culver City High School, I was aided in stimulating my students and improving my curriculum by funding from the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF).
The benefits of this excellently administered organization cannot be overstated; its focus is on students and ways to broaden and reinforce their learning experiences.
As a school board member, I have seen the results of CCEF’s support for programs such as SuccessMaker and Odyssey at the elementary and middle school levels.
In light of debilitating State budget cuts, it is up to us to sustain effective programs like these. CCEF’s “All For 1” campaign exists to help meet that need.
As a 50 year long resident of Culver City, I would remind other seniors how important are the students of today. Years ago we received excellent educations; we should offer no less to this generation.
