During the month of October, Culver City Firefighters will again be wearing pink to support those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The public is invited to join CCFD and show support by purchasing a Culver City Fire Department Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt.
As of Oct. 1 pink T-shirts in men’s and women’s sizes have been available at Fire Station 1 located at 9600 Culver Blvd. for $15 each.
CCFD will donate 100 percent of the T-shirt sales proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. For more information, persons interested can contact Tim Carr at timothy. carr@culvercity.org.
