Car burglary
On April 12, a female reported that her 2008 GMC Yukon had been burglarized. She said she parked and locked the sport utility vehicle in the 600 block of Corporate Point on at 9 a.m. that day 12. She returned at 12:20 p.m. and discovered her driver’s door open and property missing.
Commercial burglary
On April 12, 2011 at 1:45 p.m., officers went to the 5700 block of Buckingham Parkway regarding a burglary investigation. The owner of the business told them that two days earlier at 8:52 a.m., two males entered the location through the front doors, walked upstairs to a lobby area and removed property from a desk. They then walked downstairs, went into another office and removed more property, then left.
Stolen vehicle
A male told police that he parked and locked his 2003 Chevy Tahoe in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at 12:30 p.m. on April 14 and when he returned an hour later, his vehicle was missing.
Street Robbery
At 10 p.m. on April 17, officers went to the 6000 block of Centinela Avenue and met with a pair of victims who said they were walking on Centinela Avenue under the 405 freeway when they were approached by two males who stopped them and demanded their property. A suspect hit one of the victims and took his wallet, and then both suspects ran away. One suspect was described as a black man about 18-20 years old, 5 feet 8 or 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin build and short hair. The other was described as a black man about 18-20 years old, 5 feet 6 or 5 feet 7, thin build and short dark hair.
Street robbery
About 10 minutes later, officers went to the area of Buckingham Parkway and Sumner Way, where a male told them that he and a friend were walking near Fox Hills Park and were approached by a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue baseball hat, khaki shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. The suspect drew a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet, then fled.
