Crime Blotter for March 26 through April 1.

Residential Burglary:

On March 26 at 9:39 a.m., officers responded to the 6100 block of Canterbury Drive regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; on March 24 a maintenance worker was cleaning the unit when he noticed that some company owned property was missing. He notified the reporting party and they discovered the property was missing.

Theft:

On March 26 at 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a grand theft investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was working on his two laptops when he was approached by two male subjects who grabbed his laptops and fled the location.

Car Burglary:

On March 26 at 4:45 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report her 1990 Toyota had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the area of Culver Boulevard and Madison Avenue on March 22 at 9 p.m. When she returned on March 23, she discovered her property missing.

Commercial Robbery:

On March 29 at 9:55 p.m. officers responded to the 12800 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was behind the counter when the suspect entered the location and approached the counter. The suspect then produced a handgun and demanded the money. Fearing for his safety he gave the suspect the money and the suspect fled the location. The suspect was described as a male Black, 25 to 30 years, 5”11, 150-170 pounds, and wearing dark clothing.

Theft:

On March 31 at 5:30 p.m. a victim called the police department to report he was a victim of a theft. The victim said he parked his 2012 Toyota in the 11500 block of McDonald Street on March 29 at 11:30 p.m. On March 31 he discovered his car cover had been stolen.
