The city of Culver City paid tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a celebration Jan. 19 at the Senior Center. The youth who took part in a Youth Leadership Workshop were honored. Five of the 16 youth attended the event. From left, are Haley Rosier, Kriselle Rosier, Kristina Bell, Maya Christie, and Caitlin Haran-Cosico. The participants in the workshop learned effective communication skills through group interaction, breathing and centering techniques, role-play, and visual/audio media.
