Traffic will be impacted by Southern California Edison work crews, which will install electrical service to the Expo Line’s Culver City station despite delays in opening the facility.

During the month of January, motorists should expect delays in the area. According to SCE, work is expected to continue intermittently during the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. for about four weeks beginning Jan. 5.

Here are traffic changes for motorists to consider:

  • Eastbound Washington Boulevard will be reduced to one through lane of travel between Ince and National boulevards.
  • Left turns will be prohibited from eastbound Washington to northbound Robertson Boulevard, and in the work zone, there will be no on-street parking on the south side of Washington.
  • Westbound Washington will not be affected.
  • Message signs will be placed on Washington and the city will provide email notifications.
  • Notices to businesses on Washington adjacent to the work zone will be hand-delivered by SCE representatives this week.
