Celebrity magician, Fantastic Fig and his cat, Newton, will be the featured family entertainment at the Culver City Woman’s Club Ice Cream Social on April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the meeting hall of the Culver Palms Methodist Church located at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City.

Otherwise known as Paul Fegen, the entertainer was the only close-up magician sent to Las Vegas by the judges on “America’s Got Talent.”

Children and adults alike are astounded by his card tricks while his act is a delightful mix of magic, comedy and dancing.

In addition to the “America’s Got Talent” contest, Fegen won a competitive bid to appear on a Clear.com national cable commercial that ran for eight months. He has also appeared on the “Kathy Griffin Show,” a “Carl’s Jr. Fan-Raiser” and twice as the birthday party magician on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Fantastic Fig and Newton perform at a number of local events including corporate parties, opening nights, and recently The Night of 100 Stars Oscar Party.

Ice cream sundaes, banana splits or a simple dish of ice cream with a choice of toppings will be offered. There will be non-dairy frozen desserts for guests with restricted diets.

Tickets are $10 each.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to charities, among them scholarships for Culver City High School students, Culver Palms Meals on Wheels, The Culver City Senior Center and the Bob Hope USO at LAX.

For tickets and information contact Carole Kanter at (310) 453-2314.
