Santa Monica Public Library’s Pico Branch and the Virginia Avenue Park presents its inaugural College Success Summit and Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Virginia Avenue Park Campus, 2200 Virginia Ave., Santa Monica.
The public is invited to the Virginia Avenue Park and Pico Branch Library for a full-day college resource fair, officials said. Attendees can get college-ready by attending workshops on college prep topics and fill out an FAFSA application through the Cash for College program.
Also, those in attendance can enjoy cultural food and a special performance in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
This program is done in collaboration with: Pico Branch Library, Virginia Avenue Park, Boys and Girls Club of Santa Monica, Community Corporation of Santa Monica, Pico Promise and Santa Monica College.
This summit is free and open to all ages. Seating is limited and on a first-arrival basis. The Santa Monica Public Library – Pico Branch Library and Virginia Avenue Park is wheelchair accessible.
